Virtual (video) visits allow your child to be seen from the comfort of your home by healthcare providers who specialize in pediatric clinical care. You can use your PC/Mac or Android/iPhone device to connect with our providers who will guide you through the visit. We will send a summary of your visit to your pediatrician at the conclusion of your visit. If a prescription is needed, we will send it directly to your local pharmacy.
Meeting with a provider through a scheduled video visit is a convenient way to receive care without coming to the hospital or clinic in person.
Are you new to telemedicine at Texas Children’s Hospital? You can reach us at 832-822-2222.
You can use a web browser on your computer or an app on a mobile device to start a video visit. Mobile devices are preferred, because the MyChart app makes it easy to access your visit and most mobile devices already have the appropriate camera and microphone setup for video visits.
If your appointment has been converted from an in-person visit to a MyChart video visit, you can easily access your appointment by following these instructions.
* If our provider is unable to make a diagnosis during the virtual visit or needs more information, we may ask you to come in for an in-person visit and/or lab work.
